Singer-songwriter Frances Wilde has announced the release of her highly anticipated debut EP Paperback Reveries.
Recorded at Ailfionn Studios of The Mary Wallopers renown, Paperback Reveries features four songs: ‘Spotify Villain’, ‘Cigarette Warmth (Paperback)’, ‘Conversations with Friends (Paperback)’, and ‘A Little While’.
Speaking about her debut EP release, Frances Wilde said, “I’m so proud to be releasing independent grassroots singer-songwriter folk music here in Dublin. In a place where it’s so hard to grow roots, I’m proud to present these branches of hope, and I hope that the creativity I enjoyed making them bears through in the boughs.”
The EP presents a carefully crafted ethereal folksphere of grief, heartbreak and female rage turned acoustic and sorrowful.
